Virtual greeting cards used to be rather difficult to find and free ones were even more rare.  Now, however, you can find just about any type of greeting card you want and not even have to pay for it!

More and more people are using free e cards rather than their paper counterparts.  The price (free) is right and sending e cards conserves trees.  There is an e card for every occasion and free animated e cards are in high demand.  Many sites offer these products at no cost to drive traffic to their site and attract advertisers.  So far, the strategy seems to be a resounding success!

Free musical e cards can be particularly fun to send and to receive.  Most sites that offer these free ecardsallow the sender to choose from a variety of music to accompany the card, from popular songs to classical melodies.  Children’s ecards often feature music from favorites like Old McDonald’s farm or Turkey in the Straw.  Children love to receive e cards and a great many children, even some as young as pre-school, are now online.
